Talking with Animals By Kris Moore
"Anupo Joy talks to animals. I mean she really does. She listens and they know she hears them." Rachel McNaughton of Carlsbad is talking about her telepathic animal trainer." "When she left," Rachel continued, "my dog Obie looked deep into my eyes. He seemed to be thanking me for inviting over someone who could talk to him. He is definitely calmer."
Any animal lover will tell you that pets have captured their hearts. We are grateful for the gift of love they so generously offer, even when we have been stingy with ours. We treat them like children but they are not. We are devoted to them, yet often puzzled by their strange behavior. If only they could talk. Enter Anupo Joy, a statuesque women with a wonderfully hearty laugh and a soothing demeanor. Anupo, which means "unique," is a natural intuitive who has done over 43,000 clairvoyant and medium sessions with humans and animals. Her rare talents are recounted in detail by a growing list of grateful clients.
Rachael has a Doberman pup named Obie. Obie isn't a bad dog, but he started acting up after Rachel left town on business and trusted him to an irresponsible critter sitter. When Rachel returned, Obie was cowering in corners, biting the walls, and if she left him alone he whined. As the days passed, the cowering subsided but he continued to chew on the plaster and began fighting with other dogs. With Anupo on the phone, Rachel held the handset next to Obie's ear. As Anupo promised to see him in the morning. Obie cocked his head and listened. The next morning, he waited by the gate until she arrived.
What happens when Anupo talks to the animals seems a mystery. It looks like a silent discussion between animal and human characterized by an intense mutual attentiveness. A paw will rest in her hand. Licks to the face are frequent, as are rapid nods of a furry or feathered head. At times the animal might run off -not to return until Anupo has explained the pet's emotions to a puzzled human.
During Obie's session, Anupo sensed that the women hired to care for him has been excessively nervous and forgetful. Her energy had established a pattern which Obie was now recreating. Anupo used her intuitive gifts to diffuse and transform his upset. No longer interested in wall-biting, Obie has reverted to his happy self.
Steve Cooke moved into the Ocean Beach house he had been renting to a pair of "restless" tenants. His cats Izzy and Ladybug weren't happy about it. Living under the flight path for jumbo jets was a big part of the problem, but it wasn't the whole story. After moving in, Ladybug suffered a serious bout of constipation and two months later Izzy developed a liver disease caused by her refusal to eat. As Izzy's health declined, Ladybug became vocal and agitated.
Beyond the noise, which was bothering everyone, Anupo sensed that the space was like Swiss cheese. Energy from the busy street was leaking in and zipping through the place like a freeway for wayward intentions. Among suggestions to alter the sound patterns, Anupo directed Steve to walk the perimeter of his house and yard and use his intention to clear it from anything other than love. Steve did this with noticeable improvements to everyone's mood, but claims that the most immediate results came from another suggestion.
Anupo taught Steve how to communicate with his cats. She told him to sit quietly, softly look them in the eye, and with his voice and mind tell them what was going on. "This takes practice. At first they may not get that you are intending to communicate with them. Know your intention. Visualize your thought. Then let it go and notice what comes back. It's like an echo." When the vet told Steve that Izzy was recovering, he sat with Ladybug and told her that Izzy would be fine. For days afterward, a gleeful Ladybug cavorted around like a kitten.
When asked if the animal needs to be present during a session, Anupo answers that telepathy can happen over distances. She has done readings for people whose animals are lost, as well as conducted sessions for families on the east coast. Telepathy may be difficult for most of us to practice or even to believe. We have language after all. Why read minds? That's where animals have an advantage. Not dependant on words, they have retained their natural telepathic ability. The challenge and Blessing is for us to rediscover ours.
